    • Three scrolls produced in a workshop in Kyoto, ca. 1660-70. They were privately commissioned, probably by a local warlord of the Daimyo class. The calligrapher was probably Asakura Jūken. The models for the paintings were Japanese block-printed books. The accompanying text is by an unknown author. The narrative begins with the building of a bridge across the Sagami River and includes scenes from the Heike period featuring Yoshitsune, Yoritomo, Kajiwara, and the battle of Ichinotani.
    • Roll 1 contains pictures 1-5; roll 2 pictures 6-9; roll 3 pictures 10-18. Each roll is made up of multiple 3-foot sheets.
    • In a contemporary laquered box.
