Title from title page. Portion of the title is written by a later hand on a repair. Another eulogy reading "raḍiya Allāh ʻanhu wa-naffaʻanā Allāh bi-ʻulūmihi fī al-Dārayn..." appears on a second repair after the one mentioned here in the title.
17 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink. The text has been collated (see collation statement signed Abū Bakr ibn Qāsim on fol. 92b). Foliation using Arabic numerals. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits the first fol.).
Copied by Yūsuf ibn Rasūl ibn Amīr ʻAlī al-Turkmānī in the first decade of Muḥarram 750? (or 705?) (colophon, fol. 92b in the modern foliation).
Incipit: قال شيخنا وقدوتنا الامام العالم العمل الصدر الكامل ... احمد بت العلامة شهاب الدين ... بن تيمية الحرانى امتع الله المسلمين بطول حياته الحمد لله الذي ارسل رسله بالبينات ... اما بعد فهذه [1أ] رسالة مختصرة فيها جوامع (من السياس)ة الالهية والايات النبوية لا يستغنى عنها (الراعى والر)عية
Explicit: الا ليعبدون ما اريد منهم من رزق وما اريد ان يطعمون ان الله هو الرزاق ذو القوة المتين فنسال الله العظيم ان يوفقنا وساير اخواننا وجميع المسلمين [92ب] لما يحبه لنا ويرضاه من القول والعمل فانه لا حول ولا قوة الا به والحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله على نبيه محمد واله وسلم تسليما
