Abstract: Remodeling Robotics is an online robotics website that aims to gather and present all the information needed to start hobby robotics in one place. From branding to the content, everything created for the project was made with extreme care to ensure that readers reap every possible benefit. It features four units (Basics, Assembly, Programming, and Sensors&Actuators) as well as a Lessons section that offers content for those with and without robots. Every unit is broken up into three to five sections that encompass the knowledge needed for that unit. The Testing and Troubleshooting section and Programming unit offer programming examples in both SNAP4Arduino and Arduino to ensure ultimate accessibility. Using personal teaching and mentoring experience, all content is written in a way that is easy to understand, and no prior knowledge is assumed. Every page has been created to be accessible and easy to navigate thanks to accessibility captions and linked tables of contents. Designing a brand and educational content is not a simple task, even if one knows everything about the subject. There were many road bumps along the way, including the changing and shifting of goals and processes over time. Plans are in the works to take this project far into the future, with the hope of making it a non-profit or not-for-profit organization. Though just completed, the to-do list of alterations and additions grows longer by the day. Using the knowledge and project management skills that have been learned in this process, Remodeling Robotics’ future looks very promising as it continues its journey to encourage children to embrace STEM education.
